Shipyard van der Krogt has done the painting of this wonderful ship. The shipyard has started degreasing the surface with our Double Coat degreaser and sanding with P120. After that, they applied one layer of the ZF primer. After the primer the ship is flattened with Variopox Filler and the small damages are repaired with IJmofix. After roughly sanding the surface our IJmopox HB coating is applied, which is sanded again with P180 sandpaper after 24 hours. The first layer of Double Coat is rolled on the surface and sanded again with a finer grain after drying. This procedure is repeated 2 times with same Double Coat color. Before the last layer was applied the Double Coat surface is sanded with grain P400.
